C.J. aka Caroline J. Stussi, a former child actor, was immersed in the arts from an early age in Basel, Switzerland, close to the renowned Art Basel. Her mother and second step-father ran a marketing company and later a press agency, where C.J. honed her skills in campaign strategy and media relations throughout her childhood. Known as a girl who can eat, she published and co-authored a culinary guide to Central Switzerland.
C.J.’s legal education spans two continents, Europe and the United States, with law degrees from the University of Fribourg in Switzerland and Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles.
Her introduction to the entertainment world began at the age of three with her first national commercial in Germany. She later moved to Los Angeles as a young adult, embodying the American Dream. Arriving alone in a foreign country she had never visited before, without connections, savings, or working papers, she diligently climbed her way up to a respected figure in the industry following her passion for contracts.
Her roles have included writing a screenplay trilogy that won over 20 Best Screenplay awards, and producing an educational program on psychological manipulation. Her savvy in the business extended to restructuring her own acting contracts, securing enhanced rights and increased compensation as a result.
Before opening her own firm, C.J. spent three and a half years as an entertainment transactional attorney at Abrams Coate LLP, which counseled major corporate, studio and entertainment clients such as Paramount Pictures, Imagine Entertainment and Millenium Films over the years.
Speaking six languages, C.J. sees herself as a cultural ambassador, bridging the traditions of the old continent with the free American spirit.
